Snap Lock is a variety of metal roof panel with a standing seam design, characterized by interlocking male and female legs that snap tightly into place. The panels are secured to the roof deck using clips, which are discreetly fastened beneath the panel to preserve the smooth appearance of the standing seam roof.

It should be noted that panel design pressures, wind uplifts, and test reports are based on specific deck attachments, material gauges, clip spacing, and panel widths.
The available gauges for our products are 22, 24, and 26. However, some colors may require an order minimum and longer lead time. We recommend that you get in touch with your 5280 metal supply representative for more information regarding these specific colors.

Our 1.5″ Snap Lock panels can be installed on solid wood decking and require a minimum slope of 3:12.
Our 1.75″ Snap Lock panels can be installed over open frame steel purlins, steel decking, steel decking with polyiso board, or solid wood decking. They require a minimum slope of 2:12, and hot melt is required below 3:12.
